🙂 Keep that away from a ‘Grateful Dead’ concert 😉 🌈
This type would produce some by that name only perhaps not so grateful. 🙂

They look oh-so beguiling, don’t they. I can still recall childhood excitment of that first find.
They’re beautiful. One of my last trips to France (alas, too long ago now), we saw lots of them and they brighten up the forest.
It is beautiful, though.
That it is! It’s like something from a fairy tale–the poisonous beauty. 🙂
I love the ruffle on the stem. It’s like a ramp up to the to the cap. I never see this type of mushroom. They’re pretty.
And one of the deadliest unfortunately. But they really are pretty.
It’s always such fun to find one though.
I agree! Good for the eyes but not the body.
Pretty and dangerous – like some women in Bond movies.
Ha! Good comparison for now, A-C.
;-D
That mushroom looks like it came straight out of Super Mario Land! It’s beautiful in a totally unreal sort of way.
😁
oh I love this type of fungi, not one I come across very often though
I saw lots of fungi like this in Illinois and in France, not so much here in Arizona, although we do have a funky sort here.
