One Word Sunday: peep

Comments
  1. Perfect for this challenge!

  2. Ribbit! Great find, Janet! They always dive when come around so, I rarely get a photograph of one.

  3. Sue says:

    Oh, well done!

  4. Tina Schell says:

Of course! I’m guessing there will be a lot of bird responses to this one but you’ve gone one better!! Ribbit……….

    • Whenever I’d walk in the park in Illinois I’d always go down to the river and see if I could spot any of these guys peeking out of the water. It wasn’t easy to get a shot as they could disappear almost instantly.

  5. de Wets Wild says:

Waiting for his kiss, I suppose? He probably doesn’t know how happily married you already are to your original prince.

  6. Jet Eliot says:

Oh wow, Janet, what a treat to see this frog head so close up. I always find it fascinating that their ears are round disks and I just love to see them. Beautiful golden eye ring, too.

    • They’re slippery (probably both literally and figuratively) devils to catch in a photo but thankfully I had my telephoto and sneaked up enough on this one to get the shot. That eye ring is rather nice, isn’t it?

  8. Marie says:

Great choice – and great photo!

  9. Amy says:

    Love this take on, Janet!

  10. What frog-loving person would not adore this image? 🙂

  11. Resa says:

LOL! A bit slimy, but cute as buttons!

  12. […] Janet at This, That and the Other Thing […]
