When we lived in Illinois, there was a butterfly bush right outside our large living room window. I enjoyed seeing butterflies, hummingbird moths, bees, and other critters up close and personal and of course, taking photos through the window. 🙂

What nice clean windows you’ve got! Smiling at you through them.
It (one large window) did stay amazingly clean and I took lots of photos through It. 😉
🤣💕
Wonderful. You captured the moment well! I was entranced by the markings on the wings/
Thanks, Amanda. I do love butterflies and I think monarchs are particularly beautiful.

A friend living in Minnesota breeds Monarchs. They are graceful creatures.
That they are. What a rewarding thing to do!
I think the title says it all.
Tricky of me, isn’t it?
🙂
I have a butterfly bush the same color that is pictured here. The photo you posted is beautiful.
Thanks, Peggy. We don’t have a butterfly bush or lilacs here but we do get hummingbirds, bees, and sometimes a hummingbird moth at the flowering plants we do have.
What a beautiful sighting! I’d miss that bush. I miss my old Lantana bush for the same reason.
We have lantana here as well. I miss the lilac bushes that we had in both Ohio and Illinois, too. They didn’t attract as many insects (at least that I could see) but their scent was wonderful.

We have a butterfly bush. Your photo reminds of warmer days, and how pretty those bushes are.
I loved that bish. Wish we had one here although they might not grow well here.

That is an amazing shot! Wow!
Thanks, Judy. I took so many shots out that window.
What a lovely view! So colourful too!
It was always a delight to see what was out on that bush.
😊
So lucky and how beautiful
Thanks, Andrew. They really are beautiful. Thanks for stopping by and commenting as well.

That was taken through a window! Amazing!
Also, clean windows! 😀
The amazing part is that I didn’t wash that window. I guess frequent rains must have kept it reasonably clean and the Nikon took care of looking past any smudges. 🙂
