In the second room, there were a number of sculptures which would be more approachable to have in your home (unless you have a mansion), but that were also lovely. Here are three of them. The mark on the wall behind the first piece amused me, making it seem that steam…or perhaps a genie…was emerging from the top.

I love the shadows created by this one as well as the piece itself.

I so adore Chihuly glass. Wonderful photos 😀
Thanks, Cee. I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s and there will be more.
So interesting and such vibrant colors!
I’m happy you enjoyed them, Janet.
Beautiful art and great photos.
Thank you kindly, Dan.
Brilliant work …. and Chihuly does good glass, too. 😉 …. If I had to pick one, not sure if it would be the first or third. Hmmmmm
Nicely done, Frank, and thanks. The vases/whatever were a bit harder to photograph because they were on shelves and one of them was quite high so I had to hold the phone up to get the shot. But I’m glad they came out well.
That’s a great example that photography is a skill. A photographer knows how to deal with the angles and its limitations. Thanks for sharing!
I love that you are only giving us a few at a time Janet, and can then look forward to more bit by bit… Thank you…
I’m happy you like that. I want readers to be able to enjoy a few enormously rather than have so many that they lose some of the attention they deserve.
Good idea…
Chihuly glassworks is something to see, right? I’ve had two opportunities to observe his work live and get lost in the colors and imagination of his work. These are very pretty, interesting pieces you shared…the green vase is lovely.
When I see his work it feels as though it squeezes my heart with the beauty.
Beautiful.
Thanks, Judy. 🙂
Great that you are giving these to S slowly, so we can appreciate all the more
I’m glad you like that I’m doing it that way, Sue. I’ve gone to blogs where there are sometimes as many as 20 pictures in a post and it’s just too much.
Agreed, that’s why I only post one or two
The shapes and the colours are so beautiful!
I agree.
The shapes and colors of Chihuly are so stunning! Thanks for sharing there and in your next post. Janet!
I’m glad you’re enjoying them, Jesh. I’m enjoying sharing them.
Those are beautiful. I like the idea of genie coming out of the top one too.
And I didn’t even rub it. 🙂
😂
they are fantastic works of art – such energy, such vibrancy… they have a special energy…
His work is full of energy and vibrancy.
