Probably because it’s inside the hotel where we stayed. 🙂 I think it was the Marriott downtown. The room on the far side was a banquet room or something like that. This was taken from the side where the rooms were. Philly’s a very interesting city.
Huh – Who knew?! You’re right, never really spent any time inside hotels there! Good eye for catching that one! Yes, I lived there for a dozen years or so. It’s a very under-rated city with lots going for it.
No, nothing that exciting. It’s in the Marriott in downtown Philly. The far side is an area they use for special events so it’s evidently blocked off or enclosed when not on use. I’m looking at it from the side with the rooms.
For me, the title made the images even better. 🙂
Very good
Hmmmm…..lived in Philadelphia for many years and don’t recognize this spot. Give me a hint please! Very cool image.

We stayed there when our daughter graduated from PAFA. Lovely room and hotel, not so lovely price. 🙂
Is that a roller coaster? It looks it would be fun if so.

Great use of the railings to emphasis the feeling of enclosure
Claustrophobia! Good take!
Glad you enjoyed it, Resa. It only appears claustrophobic because I’m so close to the “bars” on my side. There was lots of space.
Okay. You see, I’m from the prairies. A small field is claustrophobic to me!
Then you’d love South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. Lots and lots of wide open space!!
