Getting to be time to go to Saguaro again and see if things have started to bloom. The saguaros won’t have but there are some other lovely cacti flowers there.
You’ll have to let me know what you start getting blooms up your way. Is there somewhere that you can find out when flowers are in bloom in different parts of AZ?
What wonderful structures nature devises π
Nature is full of amazing things.
Sharp and soft – a perfect title. π
I aim to please, Frank. π
Perfect subject for this topic!
Thank you kindly. π
Pretty photo, great title.
Thanks and thanks, Ally. Happy over-the-hump day.
Nice, sharp shot in more ways than one! I saw a few of these in the greenhouses at the Chicago Botanic Garden the other day.
Thanks, Sue. That visit looked wonderful. Glad you shared. π
Great take! Hahahaha!
Just admire from a distance.
Handsome to look at from a far. π
Very true!
I would not touch it!!

I have a cactus that is very spikey but is soft.
It doesn’t prick your fingers to touch it. Odd …
Isadora π
That IS odd.
I know. It was a gift from an orchid grower/friend. Iβll add a photo on wordless Wednesday. π³π
Kinda looks like a fluffy owl baby.
I guess I need to check my Mammillaria to see if they are trying to bloom too.

Yes. My hill had lots of trickles beginning. Happy for the rain. See you tomorrow.
Rain is good. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Oooooh, I’ll bet it’ll be gorgeous in a few more weeks! π

Will do! Flagstaffarizona.org provides webcams of the area up this way. Other cities might offer the same. π
Hmm, thanks for the tip!
