Yesterday was one of those days that makes blogging even better. Four bloggers and one wife met for food and fun. On the left is your truly. Next to me is Donna who the Wind Kisses, then Marsha who’s Always Write. Behind us you’ll find John (Journey with Johnbo) and on the far right, his lovely wife Lynn.
I’ve met fellow bloggers in a variety of places in the U.S. and one epic meeting on a boat on a canal in France. Although this was a more mundane location, it was just as much fun. I also had the best corned beef hash I’ve ever had in a restaurant (although not as good as mine) and the worst mocha. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful meeting. I know we’ll be seeing each other again!

Great! I‘ve never met a fellow blogger in person. But 2 friends of mine are also blogging: one writes something like a travel diary. So she writes always in the past and publishes her posts back to the date she writes about. When following her, you get a mail from the past when she publishes a new (old) post. The other one publishes only on Sundays his view on photography, exhibitions, gear, development, and so on. So, both have a very different approach.
I really enjoy meeting other bloggers in person but it’s also fun to meet them online.
Back in 2020 I organized and run such online meetings via zoom. Yes, it was a lot of fun. Bloggers from Germany, US (NY, NC + SF) , Sweden, Norway, and UK wer participating. For Europe in the evening, US east-coast around noon and west-coast US late morning on a Saturday. Many of us had to stay at home, so this was possible.
