Excellent image to meet the challenge and fill the frame. I’ve always wanted to go to France when it is in bloom and learn how to weave it into those little bottle shapes. Have you seen those?
I don’t think so. Although now that I look it up, I think you might mean what I would call lavender wands. I’ve not made them bit I have some from years ago when I visited France.
who can see the wind,
neither you nor I…
🙂 I think these are just leaning as they grow but I can see why they look like the wind is bending them.
Excellent photo (and great placement of the ‘Janet’)
🙂 Thanks for both, Dan. I often think of you when I’m placing my copyright.
Haha – I do try to find them.
Love the bee on the lavender!
Thanks, Julia. Lavender is a bee-magnet, which is certainly a good thing. Appreciate the visit and comment.

Love it, it’s is a breath of spring as we still are in winter
Happy to bring you something lovely as you’ve so often done for me.
Great representation of ‘diagonal’, Janet. I might have had to search a while to find something that fit. It’s a beautiful photo, regardless.
I had another shot, a very different one, in mind but as I was trying to find it, I saw this and decided I liked it better. 🙂
Gorgeous image, Janet. Love the diagonal and the bee makes the shot! 💜🐝
There were lots of bees there as you can well imagine although they’re not always easy to catch on camera.
Perfection, Janet!
It’s a beautiful place, Yvette.
Diagonal with a beautiful fragrance – win, win.
I think so too, Judy. Just wish it were closer…like next door or across the street. 🙂
So brilliant and beautiful! I can practically smell them now. 🙂
Isn’t it a wonderful scent? ❤
I love lavender
I do too! I wish that field were next door. 🙂
Hmm!

Yes! I looked up the French phrase that I learned years ago. La bouteille de lavande which is why I called it a bottle. 😀
Perfect for this challenge!
Thanks, Aletta. I hope your week’s off to a good start. 🙂
Yes it is, thanks Janet😊

Very interesting 🙂
Thanks, Hammad.
Ahh, that smell.
I know. Divine.
