Have an old motorcyle hanging around? Make some art out of it. 🙂 This reclaimed metal sculpture by Kioko Mwitaki perching in a tree at Tohono Chul made me smile and also muse about the ability to see a vulture from a used motorcycle. To read a bit more about the sculptor and see an awesome lion he created, click here. You might be surprised by his nationality. I know I was.

Thank you for sharing I have shared again.
Thanks!

Oh my – that is quite a bird. I use to have a friend in Arizona who was a welder – he made art work like this. Very creative people – these welders. My father was a welder and he made a few things too.
To think of what could be is one thing but to be able to actually create it is something else entirely.
Kiako made a Lion that is pure art. Wow – I am impressed.
That lion was amazing!
Love it!
He made something really cool, that’s for sure.
Oh, clever!
I thought so too. To see a vulture in that one piece and then create it is quite something. I might see it/envision it but I’d never be able to make it.
How our brains come up with stuff
Love it.
I thought it was pretty cool too.
Brilliant! I feel like we have a similar appreciation for everyday art, so of course I love this idea.
I like the idea of re-purposing things that otherwise would be thrown away, whether as art or as something else.
Very cool!
Glad you liked it too, Janet.
LOL! That’s a new bird to me!! 🤣 Very creative and fun!
A lifer! 🥰
🤣
More handsome than the real thing, Janet.
Ha! I think you’re right, Jo.
I love recycled art – wish I had the gift!
I know what you mean, JT. Even if I could imagine it, I couldn’t create it.
Interesting! You never know what you will find! I love that place!
Lisa, we were so impressed with it and my husband liked it even better than the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. I want to go again (to both.)
Wow!
This is certainly very amazing 🙂
Someone had quite a vision.
