When an empty tummy calls, there’s no other option better than answering it 🙂
So true. 😉
Beautiful, you could also have posted for the lens artist challenge “Bokeh”
Great shot.
Glad you liked it, Judy. I’m thankful for a telephoto lens and cropping. 😉. Enjoy the weekend.
Wonderful photo janet 🙂
Thanks, Brian!
Lovely capture, Janet!
Thanks so much, Sue.
😊😊
This is a fabulous photo, Janet!
Thanks very much, Amy. Nice of it to sit where I could get a good shot.
What a delight to see this lesser goldfinch, Janet. They love the seeds and thistle.
This goldfinch was at the Preserve. I always enjoyed seeing the goldfinches in Illinois with the male’s bright yellow. Right now I’ve been having fun watching the mockingbirds in our backyard and the occasional hummingbird.
Wonderful shot!
Thanks, Janet. ❤
Wow. You must be a very patient person!
There are lots of birds at the Preserve and since I had a telephoto, it wasn’t afraid. But patience does help when taking bird/animal photos.
What an incredible shot, Janet! I am especially fond of birds with yellow bellies! 🌞
The Preserve is the place for bird photos, that’s for sure. A telephoto and cropping make it look even better. 🙂
Excellent capture of the bird. Your photograph is perfection. Have a good weekend … Isadora 😎
Thanks very much, Issy. You too.
What a lovely photo!
Thanks, Aletta.
Oooo, you captured a beauty, Janet!
I responded to the wrong comment. Yes, this bird was pretty darn cute even while eating. 🙂
Oh!. Happy Easter, belated!
Thanks. 🙂
Precious.
Some birds are less showy but still very attractive. Egrets, heron, and the like tend to get all the attention but they’re also easier to see. 🙂
