Good morning

Another weekend in the review mirror, this one filled with Easter joy. I hope you enjoyed your weekend whether you celebrated the resurrection or not. Taking a morning walk is my favorite way to start the day or the week. The highlight of our week will be traveling to California this coming weekend to meet our new grandson and first grandchild. I also have a dentist appointment later in the week. I always like getting my teeth cleaned because they feel so good afterwards and I rarely have any other issues. Do you dread the dentist or not mind? What are you looking forward to this week?

I’m not sure anyone looks forward to a visit to the dentist though it’s good to visit them and a hygienist regularly to maintain good oral health. Enjoy your trip to meet your first grandchild- now that’s exciting.

    🙂 Happy Easter, dear Janet!
It’s Easter-Monday here in Europe for many countries, so I am enjoying a lazy day with reading and hopefully writing a blog post…
I hate going to the dentist, but I make sure I get my teeth cleaned regularly – the feeling afterwards is great!
I bet you are looking forward to seeing the new family member! Congratulations!
Have a safe trip and a very HAPPY week!

  4. A glorious sky to start the new week. We had a long Easter day. Our handbell choir played for two services, so we arrived at church at 7:20 (therefore up at 6 … Yuk!). … We were home only for an hour before we left for ushering at our playhouse – a play about the life of Dr. Ruth – which was good and interesting. Then to dinner before crashing for the evening at home. Have a good week!

  5. I went a couple of weeks ago, and dreaded it more than usual because they use an ultrasonic cleaning tool. I had a male hygienist for the first time, and he had a strong hand. My teeth and gums hurt 48 hours after. My wallet hurt also when they gave me the estimate to have a tooth fixed. On the other side of the scale from dread to love will be the visit to meet your grandson. You’ll have to rest on the way home from smiling all weekend. Have a marvelous time and soak it all up. I cannot tell you how fast they grow up. 👶

Dental woes… try 15 extractions and gumming food for 7 more weeks for partials. What a ride! And my mother always said you have the best teeth in the family! Littles at Easter. Miss cuddling them…gone before you know it!

A glorious Easter sky and a visit to meet your new grandson….what could be better?! Looking forward to seeing him after you do!

I can feel the excitement growing! About holding your grandson, that is. Not about the dentist.

    Breathtaking image, Janet!

Sounds like a great week ahead for you! I’ve got no big plans. Hoping to get some writing in as we expect a couple of rainstorms this week.

  11. Hard to get started again after so many people have taken a long weekend! It’s just more of the usual for me though. Enjoy your time in CA and all the adventures in between.

  12. I’m so excited for you and B to see the baby! Safe journey!

  13. Happy Easter Blessings to you and your family, Janet.
I believe you are the only person who doesn’t mind the dentist.
I have marshmellow teeth. They give me nothing but issues and expense.
But, it must be done. I always say, ” I don’t want to go to bed with my teeth
in a dish on my night table.” LOL

    Congratulations, Janet! Grandma!
    Lovely shot.
Still seeing ads. Not that I care. It’s just that I never saw them here before.
    I pay for NO ADS.
I hope if anyone sees any on my blogs, they would tell me.
