Yes, life is definitely a balancing act. Like that picture – that is one balanced bike. I remember riding at bike that looked like this one. (I am old – ha)
You could balance like that too, Peggy, if you had a nice metal rod holding you up. 🙂 I also remember bikes like that but at least we didn’t have those with the enormous wheel where the rider was way off the ground. 🙂
I’ve never really looked closely, Ally, just noticed it when I park as it’s in front of some of the parking places. I’ll try to remember to look next time and give you a report. There’s another section with two bikes! 🙂
Hopefully no one’s actually riding this bike. It doesn’t look at all comfy. 🙂
As Bill said from his rugby days, the second day hurts the most, so Dad’s getting a bit of that. But he was able to get out of bed when necessary and although it’s a bit of a struggle, he can get off the couch. Hopefully tomorrow things will be even better.
And how did THAT get there!!
Just a guess but I’m pretty sure someone put it there. 🙂 I love the whimsy behind it.
😊😊😊
Doesn’t look tired though 😂
the iron rod holding it up probably helps. 🙂 I think the rider must have given up long ago.
Indeed! That’s a cool find. 😀
Whenever you get out for a visit, we’ll go to the olive mill and you can see it for yourself. 🙂

I could use a rod to balance. Ha Yes, those big wheel bikes were ridiculous.
I like this one … good find!
Thanks, Frank. As it’s at the Olive Mill, I see it every time I go there and it’s a photo begging to be taken…so I did. Can’t have begging!
Is that a real bike up there? Unique, regardless.

With wheels that bare I hope the saddle is super comfy!
Hope your dad’s coming along well, Janet?

We’re keeping him in our thoughts and prayers
Much appreciated! ❤
Thanks for asking. 🙂
Thank you for the post, Janet!
You’re very welcome, Amy. Enjoy the weekend.

Oh wow!
It would be more impressive if someone were riding it. 🙂 The metal rod holding it up and steady makes all the difference.

True, isn’t it?
Absolutely!
That’s cool!
I always enjoy seeing it. 🙂
