Thursday Doors…doors with flowers

A beautiful door is great on its own but a beautiful door with flowers near it is even more attractive, at least to me. Here are a few examples I found while walking along some Redondo Beach streets where I hadn’t been before and you know that where there are new streets, there are new houses, and where there are new houses, there are new doors!!

This door goes to an inner courtyard of an apartment or condo complex.

I enjoyed everything about this entryway.

Our door host with the most, Dan, now has a book out, so when you go to his door post today, find out more about it.

Wow – the flowers and plants really make these doors beautiful. Great job.

  2. I like this theme for doors! I like the center one as well with the lovely Agapanthus’s and that entry gate. It reminded me of a Japanese garden.

Beautiful doors and the flowers just make the photos perfect!

    • Flowers make everything better, right? 🙂 Thanks for visiting and taking time to comment as well. I always enjoy the title of your blog as those are two things I love.

These are lovely doors, Janet, and you’re right, the flowers and the greens add so much to the scene. I love that last photo with the stone walk and all the natural beauty.

Thanks for the shout out for my book.

Beautiful. There’s something hopeful about flowers and doors in combo.

When I saw your first door (had not read the text yet like usual) I thought That’s California. The 2nd – for sure, California, smile. In the third, I like the path from the gate to the door:)

I agree about the flowers! (K)

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
