I’ve shared sunrise and sunset from California. That really only leaves moonlight. From the same patio as yesterday’s sunset photo, here’s the view I saw one evening. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my iPhone 11 caught it.

Slightly fugitive moon!
Or else shy. 🙂
Indeed
Not a bad shot given it was taken with an iPhone
That’s what I thought, Sheree, although I have to say it looked better on my phone and iPad. 🙂 But I went with what I had.
😎
Wow / you ( and your phone lens) captured such mysterious beauty
Not as good as with a camera but it gives the feeling of mystery.
😊☀️🐾
really cool moonlight shot!
Thanks, Beth. ❤
I love the moon like this. So mysterious!
I do too. Would have been better with a real camera but so it goes. 🙂
Beautiful shot, clarity be darned. This is much more abstract and ethereal.
You just brightened my morning, Hannah. Thanks. It does give a different feel than a sharp photo would.
Oh Janet this is a cool photo 😀
Thanks so much, Cee!
A wonderful image, Janet! Looks very ominous!
It does, doesn’t it? 😯
I only know how to take mood shots of moon. Love the clouds here, I tried to capture the moon too, but my attempt was one shot, not even that pretty. This is moody, I like.
Thanks! I always like it when the moon appears through the clouds like this.
Moon is hidding herself
And doing so beautifully.
