In the swim

A bit of color (or a lot) seems like a good idea to me today so let’s take a short look at another exhibit at the Long Beach Aquarium. Tropical fish are gorgeous. All I see here are big catfish in the canal. Not at all the same. 🫤

Do any of you have tropical fish? When I was growing up, I had goldfish. They were easy to take care of and made good fertilizer in the garden when they finally died. Very American Indian although I was growing tomatoes rather then the three sisters: corn, beans, and squash.

(As in my other aquarium videos, just listen without the sound as I couldn’t cut out the background noise (or don’t know how.)

  1. The colors are lovely. We’ve had Beta fish in the past. They’re pretty.

Thanks for the color – it brightens the day.

These fish are pretty, love the natural colors. We tried having an aquarium with tropical fish. It was a lot of work to keep it clean and the fishies alive. After a couple years we gave up, no regrets.

Looks like they are also growing a few nice species of coral.

Now this additional video was a real treat for me, thanks Janet!

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, that or the other thing.
