Lovely photo
Thanks, Sheree. An empty beach is a lovely thing on its own but the footprints made the photo.
Great photo assisting your thoughts – we could always keep in the our of mind this way when our loved ones are gone. 🙂
Thanks, Drake. I’m thankful have so many good memories of her.
A days to fondly remember your mother. Today is my birthday. I turned one in Portland Oregon on Pearl Harbor Day. Today I am 80. Like your photo.
Happy birthday, Peggy! 🎂🎊🥂
Thank you Janet.
What I meant to say was I was born one year after Pearl Harbor in Portland, Oregon. Being 80 has caused brain fog. Ha
😉
Do you know the “foot steps in the sand?”
I do.
Well this post reminds me of it.
It did me too. 🥰
Love this. My grandmas were born in 1919, my great aunt, too. She is 103. I’m sorry you lost your mom. Mom loss sure is hard. I lost mine in March. Beautiful photograph. Love the calmness of the light. Very beautiful.
I’m sorry for your loss, Jessica. 103 is an amazing age. Mom was 92 which is quite good as well. I’m happy you like the photo.
Thank you. ❤️
An inspiring photograph for a beautiful memory.
Thanks, Virginia. ❤️
so sorry for your loss, she was a good person
I like the photo too! The two rows of footprints seem a good metaphor for a loving Mom who walked with you, and walked with God, during her time here on earth. Here’s a virtual hug, Janet.
As always, thanks, Dries. I hadn’t thought about it being a metaphor for this until I’d added the info about Mom. I’d picked the photo in advance. But it worked.
walking along a beach on a winters day, what joy and solitude. what wonderful thoughts you must have had of your mom. peace.
Thanks, Clay. I remember her with much love.
That is a gorgeous photo.
