One of the things I always do when visiting in Illinois is to walk in the park I enjoyed regularly when living there. As ti was early November, most plants weren’t at their best yet I managed to find color in a variety of place:
in the dawn sky,

in the sun hitting the trees and the leaves that remained,

in some vivid leaves still hanging on…literally,

in the still-leafy bushes,

and in the fallen leaves along a back trail.

Jo’s Monday Walk…sometime
Beautiful, Janet. Sorry that I can’t add you this week as I’m still not operational. Hopefully soon 🤔💗
Lovely colours 🙂
Thanks, Brian. 🙂
So beautiful Janet!
Even when so much was barren it was beautiful.
I love it.
Beautiful photographs, Janet.
Thanks very much, Smitha, for visiting, liking, and commenting. All appreciated. 🙂
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
It looks lovely and those are my kind of colors!
❤ Happy you enjoyed it.
So pretty. Fall is my favorite time of year.
In the Midwest, it’s such a beautiful time.
Beautiful photos that make me want to take a walk.
Good. Do it. I went out this morning and it was pretty chilly for AZ, but felt good to walk.
I did, in a conservatory with great windows, flowers and warm temperatures.
That works too. 🙂
[…] Monday walk…fall into color — This, that and the other thing […]
Lovely
Thanks very much, Sherry. How’s the weather there? Looks like you might be getting some bad weather.
We are unlikely to get much snow in NY City. We might get a light sprinkle of snow tomorrow. So far, there has been no snow at all this winter which is unusual.
Unquestionable excellence photography.
Many thanks!

Isn’t it wonderful that in nature we can get so much beauty no matter what the season? You captured it perfectly, Janet.
Thanks, Dries. I agree it’s a blessing.
Very nice to look back at some autumn colour in these dark days.
Happy to help add some color to your day. 🙂
This is great place to walk.and wonderful colors. Anita
I enjoyed many, many walks there while we lived in Naperville.
So pretty. I love the yellow along the path’s edge.
You should see it in spring, summer, and winter. 🙂
Reminds me of New England.

Gorgeous, I especially love the maze of tree trunks and vines along the path. I love paths with lots of leaves on them, don’t you?
I do, at least in fall. 🙂 I always enjoyed walking on the leaves and hearing them crunch, although that meant I might not see any animals because they’d hear me coming.
A tit for a yay, both are lovely!
