Vibrant and beautiful. Sadly, I just encountered these berries the other day while walking because I huge tree that was carrying them had just fallen. The Seek app tells me they’re yaupon holly; not edible for humans, but important to many birds and other species. Such a shame to lose it.
Being colourblind I always have great difficulty noticing red berries amongst green leaves and have to get up close like this to enjoy them, to the great amusement of whoever is with me at the time. Thanks for zooming in, Janet!
