No, but it’s difficult to get a photo that isn’t from at least partially below because they’re so tall! If you have a drone, you can do it or if you can get on a ridge above some but so far I just have this angle. 😉

I imagine seeing desert blooms for the first time must be so special, that you don’t want to miss them ever again. Beautifully captured, Janet.
They’re so different from spring flowers in the Midwest or other places! I can’t wait until the torch cactus blooms because those flowers are just stunning.

The bee wasn’t the focus but with these flowers, there are always bees a/o birds. I love these flowers but they’re so high up that it’s difficult to get a good shot that really shows their beauty, at least from the top.

people have no idea how beautifully the cacti can flower. I was stunned the year my brother in Scottsdale took me hiking during a superbloom. Never seen anything like it!
I’d love to have a superbloom this year so I could see it in person. Cactus flowers are often astonishing in their beauty.
