Just at the end of the day it got cloudy and chilly again but otherwise it was lots of fun. These next three days are iffy but we’ll see how things turn out.
The tournaments are over. It finished last night. So the weather isn’t as big a factor now because we can be inside if we have to. We got in a walk along the beach this morning although there’s a possibility of rain from now until early afternoon. We’ll see what happens. It seems like every time we’re out here our daughter’s saying, “The weather’s not usually like this.” Lol.
It’s snowing here and there’s snow on the forecast all day tomorrow. We may get up to 6 inches of fresh snow.
I hope there are some more beach walks in the forecast for you!
The games were postponed twice but when the threat of lightning was over, they played on. Teams are there from all over the world so they need to finish by Sunday evening. We haven’t been to any spring training games.
Glad the weather swung back around to right!
We are too!!!
😍
That wasn’t after the Samoa game was it
I’m afraid so. 😭😭😭
and you were smiling….quite brave of you. That would have been brutal to watch
It was.
I am glad that the weather let you in. Sevens is a great sport to watch.
It is. We love it. And we have replays of Six Nations to watch at some point. Just try not to find out what happened before that.😁
Oh I see the weather is beautiful now! And your husband enjoys the Buckeyes just like I do!
We both do but this is international rugby with teams from around the world.
Yes that I knew… but I always love seeing a Buckeye!
So do we. I misread your comment, hence my first reply.
I grew up In Nebraska so I’m a Husker fan. My husband’s from Ohio so now we both root for both teams…unless they play each other. 😉
I’m glad your weather cleared up enough to go to the match. You two look terrific! 😍

Fingers crossed you have good weather. 🤞

La Niña years are when we get real winters. 😃

You guys are looking good!
Enjoy the baseball season!
Rugby 7’s not baseball and yes, we’re enjoying it. 😉
I am so glad to see you two smiling on the last photo despite the ‘Boks poor showing in the tournament
I know. It was terrible. But my husband got me a SA cap which you see there so that was good. Early birthday gift. 😁
You didn’t get rained out? Do you go to any of the spring training games in Phoenix?

Crazy to have a schedule interrupted by something so unavoidable. Nature is not always predictible.
…and a week well spent.
Overall it was. Could have done without being sick, of course. 🙂
That’s true. You sure made the best of it….
Oh wow!
Such a perfectly amazing day to be at the field. Lovely captures indeed 🙂
It was a lot of fun once the rain was over. 🙂
