Our California vacation didn’t turn out exactly as planned (understatement!) but I did manage to find two more power-full doors that I thought you might like. After deciding to use the slider, I had a moment of panic when I couldn’t find it, only to realize it’s called “image compare.” 🙂 As we were in southern California, our son-in-law surfs (not pictured on this first box!), and maybe because these boxes featured surfboards, a reference to the Beach Boys seemed apropos.

You get a bonus skateboard in this second set. A side note: one of the locations mentioned in “Surfin’ USA” is Redondo Beach, home of these boxes and our family.
If everybody had an ocean
Across the U.S.A
Then everybody’d be surfin’
Like Californi-a
You’d see them wearing their baggies
Huarache sandals too
A bushy bushy blond hairdo
Surfin’ U.S.A

Does your son-in-law have the hairdo mentioned in the song 😃
Not even close! 🙂 Reading the lyrics for this post, I realized there was a lot in the song that I didn’t understand correctly.
There often is, and I often hear the lyrics wrong 😀
The slider works well on the skateboards, Janet. I tend to forget about it or want to use it in circumstances that don’t really fit.
I like it a lot for certain things, including this. 🙂 There are so many other WP options that I don’t know anything about or what they are.
Or even, surfboards! The clue is in the title….
🙂
Fun
Thanks. I thought so too.
Good!
Great shots! Lovely summer feel🍒
Very true, Patricia, although with wet and dry suits, surfers can be out in all sorts of weather. 🙂
Oh, for sure. The suit, the age, and the adrenaline 😁
Enjoyed the sliders 🙂
Thanks, Brian. 🙂
Very creative
There are a lot of creative people out there and decorating power boxes gives them another outlet, one that makes our lives more beautiful too. 🙂
Absolutely
Perfect for the locale … and something I would expect to find in Old Scottsdale.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen surfboards as a motif in Old Scottsdale but there certainly could be. 🙂
Those are fun doors. I think seeing those would life my mood. Great use of the “image compare” – I think calling it a slider would make more sense.
Thanks, Dan. I think it does good things for people’s moods as does much street art/murals.
It does. I think I might have a few next week or at least soon.
I like the idea of digitally sliding doors. 🙂
It would have been fun if I could have made the doors go from closed to open that way. 😉
Very cheerful! The Beach Boys are always popular in my family. (K)
I love these! So bright and breezy. Now, I have the song in my head which isn’t a bad thing. I hope your trip ended up on a positive note! 🙂
Thanks, Brenda. It ended pretty well as we were both feeling better and of course spending time with family (and grandson especially) always makes for a good visit at least to some degree. I love the old Beach Boys songs. The British Invasion music and 60’s songs are mostly my favorites.
I’m glad you’re feeling well and were able to enjoy your grandson. The Beach Boys songs always make me feel young. 🙂
I saw them in concert once many years ago. What a joyous time!
