Aah your post prompted a memory for me. I have my Grand Mother’s glovebox which I think is ‘Bakelite” with inlaid mother of pearl. Have a lovely Sunday.

really pretty Janet – so delicate, and a beautiful composition. Reminded me of a beaded purse left to me by my great aunt, which was her mother’s so very old. One evening we were headed out “fancy” for a change so I decided to use it. When I opened it up there was an ancient pair of opera glasses in it. Such a sweet surprise!
