We’re on the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia again for this week’s edition of Thursday Doors. These are classic doors surrounded by classic buildings. What else needs to be said? Just dive into the splen-door-ous offerings, then head to Dan’s (highlighted link above) to see more from around the world, because you know door-versity is a good thing! 🙂

Beautiful doors. So majestic.
These types of buildings and doors made it a joy to walk on the campus.
Agreed
Thanks, Sheree.
These are great! I love the middle one that’s set back in that alcove.
Thanks, Dan. There were so many beautiful doors there that the first day it took me a long time to walk back, as I was stopping all the time to take photos. 😉
Those are fantastic door choices, Janet. I loved the fancy top door, and all the brick and arches and medieval door feel of the second and third one.
There’s a reason these are classic doors, isn’t there? Glad you liked these as much as I did.
How are you always able to get these doors with no people milling around. I love these.
It was summer, so not as many people on campus and I just wait sometimes. Thankfully it was only a walking area, so no vehicles to mess things up. 🙂
Marvelous doors, Janet. That first one is absolutely stunning. Hugs.
Many thanks, Teagan. I always appreciate your visits and comments.
Wonderful doors all. I really enjoy your well thought out angles and setup for the photos. Awesome!
Thanks very much, Suzette. Glad you enjoyed these. Appreciate your visit and comment.

Always a pleasure Janet. Thank you.
Beautifully captured, Janet! Love your UP photo tour.
Thanks, Amy. It’s a beautiful campus.
A great selection, I love that last door.
Thanks. They’re definitely classics.
Amazing doors and architecture!
Thanks, Brenda. I really loved the campus.
BEST. DOORS. EVER.
Wow, that’s a great comment! Thanks, Marian. 🙂
Dorgeous shot, Janet!
Thank you!
Ha! Good one. The humor all hinges on getting “dor” in there somewhere. I’ll have to remember that one.
Of course one wants to frame it right!
I was afraid this might open the door to a pun contest but I had to do it anyway.
Right! … we really latch onto these pun things!
Are you saying it’s key to our conversation right now?
Yes, but you don’t have to jamb it down my throat!
Hmm, I’d best screen my response.
