Nope, nothing about Aaaanold today, just notice that I’m taking a bit of time off this upcoming week.  Besides it being Holy Week with three church services and praise team practice, I have a fairly full work schedule, taxes to organize and get sent off, a house that might need cleaning, the new Donna Leon book, and so on and so on.  You get the idea.  I can’t do justice to my life let alone my blog and yours with all that going on, so as Aaaanold says,  “I’ll be back.”

I wish those of you who celebrate Easter a happy and blessed one.  To those of you who don’t, I pray for you a happy and blessed time, too.  🙂  I’ll miss you but as “they” say, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”  Enjoy and I’ll see you soon.

The girls are home, I have one day of work left (today), and it’s almost Christmas.  That means it’s time to take a blogging break and enjoy the season.  I’m going to share a few of our Christmas decorations and wish each of you and yours the most merry and blessed Christmas you’ve ever had.  Count your blessings, hold your loved ones close, and take time to enjoy the season.  Thanks for being part of the blessings of my blogging life!  I greatly appreciate all of you.

Time for glitz and glitter

And of course, the real Reason for the season.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

It’s mother-daughter time, so I’m flying my favorite airlines, Southwest, to Philadelphia for a few days.  Enjoy yourselves while I’m gone, because I’ll be enjoying myself.  See you Tuesday.

By the time many of you read this, I’ll be in my van on the road to Wyoming.  So it’s the start of a three-week blogging break for me.  Our internet connection at 7,000′ is quite slow, which is fine, as I’ll be spending my time riding, reading, hiking, and relaxing.  My parents will also be visiting for about a week, although unfortunately, my husband can’t make it. But I imagine I’ll be popping in to Instagram from time to time.  In the meantime, have a wonderful time wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.  When I get back, I’ll have lots of information and photos for posts, although I haven’t finished with France yet.  Isn’t travel grand?  Blessings to all of you and I’ll be back soon.

Headed toward this view…
