Descanso Gardens again. Even in November there were flowers. Of course November in southern California isn’t December in many other places, but it that made it even more of a joy to see. It was UPlifting.

After our daughter picked us up at LAX, we drove directly to Baja California for the wedding. At a stop for gas and a bathroom break, I spotted these flowers flourishing on the corner. They weren’t the most amazing thing, though. The restrooms were in a different building and the attendant unlocked them electronically from the main building! However, the flowers were prettier.
