Pardon a second post for the day, but when I visited Cee’s site, I saw that three of her Fun Foto Challenge themes, mirror, black and white, and reflection, could be encompassed by one photo I took some years ago and still really like.  So without further ado…

Just for fun this week, Cee’s asking us to share a photo or photos of a sunset, sunrise, or a night shot.  One wonderful thing about an iPhone (or other smartphone) is that I never have to miss a shot, even on a walk in the park.

The challenge for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge is “Things with Motors for House or Garage.”  I don’t know about you, but I think this Dusenberg would look just perfect in any garage, provided the garage was long enough.  What do you think?

“Legs and feet” come in many sizes and types. Here are few I’ve seen recently.

Legs, feet, and so much more being modeled in Philadelphia’s Macy’s.

I think the time change going to Europe is easier, at least for me, than coming home.  Going over, even though I don’t usually sleep much, I at least rest. Returning the US, it’s daylight all the time, meaning I try to stay awake and have to sit for many too many hours.  Today has been full of various errands and work around the house.  My eyes are trying to close, but I want to get my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Tracks in before staggering off to bed.

Here we have a plethora of tracks: the track on which I’m walking, bike tracks, cross country ski tracks, human tracks, and animal tracks.  Easy to keep track of in the snow.

Lavender’s blue, dilly, dilly, lavender’s green
When I am king, dilly, dilly, You shall be queen
Who told you so, dilly, dilly, who told you so?
‘Twas my own heart, dilly, dilly, that told me so

If you’ve ever been in Provence when the lavender’s in season, or even after it’s been harvested, you’ll know how strong the aroma is. Tuck a packet of lavender in your clothes and they’ll carry a faint, delicious scent of lavender. When my s-i-l moved to another part of France, she planted these plants. The bees in NE France are thrilled.

White Flowers” is the theme for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week. I’m sharing another shot of this elegant arrangement at Krannert Hall in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.  As I’ve said before, I’d love this in my house. But I’ll settle for sharing for this challenge.

Red is the perfect Christmas color, especially paired with green.  Here are three beautiful examples for Cee’s theme of “Red flowers.”

“Doors and Windows” is the topic over at Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week.  The photo contains a number of both, but which are door, which are windows, and which are reflections?   This former train station in Skokie, Illinois now houses a Starbucks.

This week Cee’s challenge is to show kids or pets with toys.  As many of you know, we fostered several rescue pit bulls.  Janie, our first dog, loved to play.  She made up games and was so athletic that jumping was part of many of them.

One of the things she loved best was her Kong.  A Kong is a hard rubber toy that looks a bit like a three-tiered, pyramid-shaped Michelin man.  There’s a hole in the middle that’s there to be stuffed with goodies.  I spread peanut butter on a slice of bread, then stuffed it inside the Kong.  I put the Kong in a ziploc bag and stored it in the freezer.  The minute the freezer door opened, there was Janie, at full attention, ready to do whatever was asked of her.

However, if Janie couldn’t get a Kong, she loved to chew on whatever was available, in this case, a bone.
