Posts Tagged ‘dead flowers’

I, like Claude Monet, love enjoying the beauty of flowers always, even when they’re dead.  So I had to cheat just a little to get to six words for Six-Word Saturday.  Who cares?  Just enjoy, both the photo and your Saturday (or Sunday, if you’re in that part of the world.)

(I work Saturday and part of Sunday so forgive me if I don’t get to your blog or am late. It’s a busy weekend here.  And happy Mother’s Day to all who celebrate tomorrow.)

Oddball photos:

1) photos of odd things,
2) photos that don’t really fit any category,
3) photos the photographer doesn’t really know why s/he took,
4) photos taken inadvertently, such as of your toes or finger or even of unrecognizable things, or
5) just photos of odd things.

These definitions make it obvious that no one need think they can’t join the challenge every Sunday.  This week, I offer you a crab, enjoying whatever’s left of life in a pile of his (or her) companions at the local grocery store and a bouquet of dead flowers, thrown away, that took on a lovely life of their own with a bit of editing.  A happy, blessed Sunday to you, oddball or not.
