Oh, I wish I knew what you expected to see when you arrived.  It is about sex, plant sex, stamens and pistils at dawn (or any other time.)  Without pollen, our world would be in trouble, even though the number of allergies would be down drastically.  However, don’t worry.  Wikipedia assures us that “Most cultivated plants with showy flowers are entomophilous”,  (pollinated by or having spores distributed by insects), “and do not cause pollen allergies” and this flower is nothing if not showy.  So feel free to get as close as possible.  This beauty was being shown at our local library by the Naperville Garden Club.
