While my husband and his friend biked Missouri’s Kady Trail, I drove the car, stopping for photos, historical spots, even wine tasting.  In Rocheport, I found antique stores (lots of antique stores), a wonderful history museum, and  Mulberry Grill and Bakery, with an outdoor pizza oven and possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had, even including Italy.  (Yes, I waited for the cyclists before having lunch.)  But as it was very hot and humid, I did indulge in some delicious ice cream in a little air-conditioned restaurant while I waited for them to arrive.  On what might be considered the main street, I came across this sweet ride with some great doors front and back. Road trip, anyone?

Speaking of road trips, I’ll be working all day today, then up at 2:30 am for a 3 am cab to the airport preparatory to a long weekend trip to Philadelphia. (I feel sleepy just thinking about it!)  I won’t have much online time there, so please excuse my absence from viewing and commenting.  On the bright side, I was randomly chosen for TSA pre-check, a wonderful blessing that means shoes stay on, etc. and I should get right through the security line.
