In January, I visited my parents in Arizona, where we had a whirlwind of art experiences, including spending part of several days at the Leanin’ Tree auction.  Leanin’ Tree has made western-themed greeting cards for many years and its 92-year-old founder built The Leanin’ Tree Museum and Sculpture Garden.  Most of the more than 300 paintings and 200 bronze sculptures were put on sale during the auction in Old Scottsdale.  Some of the larger sculptures were on display on the sidewalk in front of the gallery hosting the auction, although some were so large they weren’t even brought, just shipped directly to the buyers.  Let’s see some wildlife up close and personal.  You can even safely take selfies with them.
