This weekend I’m visiting in Philadelphia, so I won’t be online much. I hope you’ll forgive me if I don’t come by to see your photo right away. In the meantime, enjoy “Eerie” photos: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/01/photo-challenge-eerie/

Oh Janet, you make me want to write a story….
Janet’s Fictioneers? You’re welcome to write a story and use the photo as long as you credit me and link to my blog.
janet
I would love to do just that. We’ll see what my little brain comes up with. Of course, I will always give you credit.
Love, Renee
love it – will pop it on my post.
Many thanks, MC!

What a spooky tree…
The fog helped a lot! 🙂

I felt I was there! Great photo!
Sandra, this was in Cape May, New Jersey last Thanksgiving. It was cold and foggy, so I bundled up and went out for a long photography walk. What beauty I found that day! This picture is only one of the many but one of my favorites. I’ve been waiting for just the right time to use it. Glad you liked it!

It has something beautiful at the same time!
I’m glad you thought so, Chris. I thought it was beautiful.
janet
yep beautiful eerie beautiful
It looks as if the tree has stretched over to shield you from the sun. Very eerie!

Thanks.

Oh wow, check out that fog- So dramatic! I haven’t seen anything like that in ages, despite the incredibly humid summer we had. You captured the haze so well, too, which is something I struggle mightily with.
Since this was near the ocean, I think under the right conditions there was fog fairly often. I got lucky, that’s for sure and also got some other foggy photos that turned out well.

Wish I knew you were here , I would have enjoyed giving you a tour! Fog is eerie and delightful !
Are you around Cape May? What a beautiful place! I wish we were going to be back this Thanksgiving, but we’ll be visiting our younger daughter in Philly. The fog was wonderful.
janet
I live in Philadelphia but love Cape May !
Drat! I wish I’d known that. I was just in Philly over the weekend, visiting our younger daughter who goes to PAFA. Maybe next time we could meet for coffee or tea.
Lets do it! I have met a number of Bloggers here! Would love to meet and maybe take a few photos 🙂
Of course we’d take photos! When we were in San Francisco recently, I met another blogger who showed me a bit of the city and our progress was often slow because we were stopping all the time to take pictures. 🙂
janet
Philly?! Right around the corner.
This shot is gorgeous.
Thanks very much. 🙂

I love this photo!! The mist definitelky adds an eerie and ominous feel to the photo
It’s funny because it didn’t feel particularly eerie when I was there, although walking in the fog has a muted and anticipatory feeling, as though something could happen. But the picture certainly looks eerie. Thanks for visiting and commenting, Janaline.
