In summer, my thoughts turn to Wyoming, but this summer I won’t be there. My husband is going through chemo for resurgent thyroid cancer in several lymph nodes and I don’t want to be gone while he’s dealing with that. Instead, I did some archive diving today, coming up with these photos for your viewing pleasure, sights I see while walking, as the back of a horse is too far away. 🙂

Hope all goes well for your husband Janet. Thank you for showing us these beautiful photos
Thanks, Pauline. I’m glad you liked the photos.
So sorry for your husband’s health issues, I hope all goes well. Sending sympathy ❤️🩹 and healing thoughts your way.
Thanks very much, Ritva.
Beautiful photos and summer memories. I’m sending best wishes for a successful treatment plan for your husband. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear in our hearts. One family member is being treated and one was tested yesterday and now awaiting results. We live about 10 minutes from the area cancer center, and when I’m there waiting all I have to do is look around and realize how many families are affected by this diagnosis. I just looked online to see what the basic statistic was for the number of people who are diagnosed with cancer, and it estimates that 40.5% will be diagnosed some time during their lifetime. Sobering statistic, and I guess that tells me why the cancer center is so busy.
We’re fortunate that he has a great team and an oncologist who’s doing cutting edge, targeted treatment. The cancer center here is always full too. As you say, sobering.
Beautiful sights indeed. I continue to pray for your husband, you, and his medical team. Hugs to you.
Thanks, Nancy. Praying is the best thing anyone can do and we greatly appreciate it! ❤️
Lovely photos. You are in my thoughts. Hope all goes well.
Much appreciated, other Janet. 😘
Sending love and prayers to your husband! And you!

Thanks so much, Jodie. ❤️
All the best to you and your husband.
Thanks. We appreciate that. 😍
Your shooting from the back of a horse is might fine! These are lovely. I loved the butterflies.
I hope your hubby gets through the chemo fine, and it cures him the most! My thoughts are with you two. 🥰
These were taken while walking, Deborah. I’d never be able to do it from horseback, although I’ve been known to take a video or stop the horse for a try at a photo. 😁
Thanks for the good wishes. 😘
Oh, I misunderstood what you meant by, “the back of a horse”. 😊
Close up of insects are always fascinating. I hope your husband’s chemo goes well. Wyoming will probably still be there. My father always liked to return to his home state Montana to ride horses. I once asked why he didn’t ride the horses In Nevada (where he worked) and he said it just wasn’t the same.
Fab shots, Jan. Your archives rock.
Please pass my best wishes along to Bill! I wish the best to you!
Thanks and I will. 😘😘😘

Thanks for all that, Dan. Prayers are especially appreciated. 🥰
