We very rarely have use of a bottle stopper around here. Once a bottle is opened, it’s pretty much gone. But if we did need one, I’m not sure I’d pick one of these. Too girly. My wife might pick one, but I need something a bit more masculine. Like maybe the head of a horse? Or a saddle? 🙂 I do love the photo, though. The lighting is nice and soft. No harsh shadows! Perfect to show off the frosted glass of the Riesling bottle. And yes, the bottle toppers are definitely odd! 🙂
It’s the same here, Emilio. What we open is usually finished the same day/night. I think I bought these just because I liked how they looked or maybe for gifts that I never gave. We do have some more “manly” ones as well, also unused. If we have to keep wine, we use one of the stoppers that pumps the air out as much as possible. But the empty bottles look better with something on the top.

I have that same wine pump you speak of. And I do have one “cute”, semi-“manly” topper but I never use it.

Very unique stoppers and bottle toppers. I like the colors. Being a Human Jukebox the song 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall came to mind. My classmates and I drove many a school trip bus driver crazy singing this song, Over and over and Over………..
