There’s a stand selling flowers at the farmer’s market that has bouquets that bring joy to my heart each Saturday.  Winter is a lovely time to warm our hearts by looking at the beauties of summer flowers.

Lovely post – one of my favorite quotes is: “If thou of fortune be bereft, and in thy store there be but left two loaves, sell one, and with the dole, by hyacinths to feed thy soul.” – John Greenleaf Whittier

    • I like that one, too, Shelley, even if I’m not sure how practical it is. 🙂 I understand the sentiment, though, and feeding the soul is very important.
