Sushi. It’s always been what’s for dinner, at least in some places.

Lovely shot, Janet.
Thanks, Sandra. In this case, I just kept shooting and then when I put them on my laptop, I discovered this. 🙂
The best shots often happen in that way. Have a nice weekend.
You two, too, Sandra.
A feast for this proud wader. Well caught, Janet!
I was more fortunate than he. He does this all the time. 🙂 Thanks, Marion.
What a lovely shot!
It was a lovely day. 🙂

Lovely!
Thanks, Sue.

Excellent shot. I love watching herons fish, they are so focussed!
Fishing birds bring the idea of concentration to the ultimate high, Karen, and you’re right, they’re so much fun to watch.

Great shot! You and I are of the same mind this week 🙂
Then I’m in good company, Connie.

Nice catch
For both of us. 🙂

If there were a rice paddy nearby it could be a full meal. Great photo.
🙂

mmmm – sushi 🙂
A beautiful photo of a beautiful bird!
I’m not a sushi person, unless it doesn’t have raw fish in it. Saving it for the rest of you or for those like this beauty.

We actually had sushi for dinner tonight. Our cat seems to appear out of nowhere whenever sushi hits the table 🙂
How odd. 🙂

Wonderful capture Janet!
Thanks, Nicole. I’m definitely happy with it. How’s your weather today? Spring-like? Glorious here.
80 and sun!!
It’s a great shot Janet!!
Thanks so much, Aletta
I like the rippling background.
It was one of those photo moments that just worked all around, Pauline.

Although it’s not my idea of tasty sushi, it certainly is fresh, at least. Plus, that is one awfully cute eater! Really fantastic shot.
Well, it IS raw fish. 🙂 But you’re right, the eater is the important thing and catching it at that moment was special.
janet
LOL So true!
The original sushi. 🙂

I love the light in this photo.
Thanks. I don’t remember thinking about the light (although I may have), but I was focused, literally and figuratively, on the bird. Getting the fish was an enormous bonus!
