The day of the cherry festival, we arrived much too early, which meant we got to wander around Fougerolles. Near the church and the city hall, we found this small but lovely garden. I’d love to have it in my yard.

Very lovely!
It was a joy to find and just enjoy…from the other side of the fence. 🙂 What a wonderful place to just sit and relax with tea or coffee and a croissant.
Wow!
Looks so amazing from the outside 🙂
I would have enjoyed looking around from the inside, too, but it was quite a beautiful view as it was.
Really pretty
It was, Aletta. Lots of work, I imagine, but worth it.
Wow. I thought you were writing about someplace in France—based on the incredibly difficult spelling of the city. But I think it’s winter there too this time of year—unless they have pocket tropical climates as well as gardens?
You’re right, it is France. But my visit there was in September and the garden was still blooming beautifully. 😊

I Googled it and am now jealous of your paths of travel! I hope it was every bit as lovely as you could wish. And if that picture is anything to go by, it was!
I’m blessed because me b-i-l and s-i-l have lived in France for many years, although they used to live in Provence. Now they live near Fougerolles and in a beautiful area as well and I’m able to visit. 🙂
Six degrees of fabulous!
True.
That’s a lovely garden!
I know. It’s gorgeous!
What a beautiful garden!!! 😀
I thought you’d appreciate it, Cee. ❤️
What a lovely mix of colors!
It looks so effortless, but I know that sort of garden is a lot of work. I loved it!
I love a good pocket garden, and this one even has a gorgeous fence. 🙂
I agree!
Wow!! I could sit and gaze at this for a good while. Beautiful!
Pat
I could , too. Unfortunately, I could only enjoy it for a short while, but wouldn’t it be relaxing to sit there for an hour or two with a book and some tea?

Ah, yes!
Pat
So beautiful.
I must admit I lusted after it. 🙂
Totally get that. I was thinking along the same lines 😀
😁❤️
What a beautiful spot! Imagine having a cup of coffee and reading a book in this garden!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful?
Oh, that’s very pretty.
It really was, Dan.
Beautiful landscaped garden; nice find, Janet!
It was such a glorious find, something we came across while just wandering.

Glad you enjoyed it, too. Thanks for taking time to comment as well.

This is a brilliant one. I used my garden too to teach my kids some lessons .. read it here https://sunniesmybunnies.wordpress.com/2017/09/09/garden/
