The move’s on. We have a date: one week from today, so you can imagine what I’ll be doing all day, every day. 🙂 It’s good news and sad news: good because we’re doing what we’re supposed to do; sad news because of the people we’re leaving behind. But the adventure begins (or continues.) In the meantime, here’s some street art from LA for you to enjoy.

Where are you moving to?
Gilbert, Arizona, which is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
My sister from Sheridan has a house in Peoria, another Phoenix suburb, where they spend part of the year. You once lived there, right? Or at least visit there?
Visited often. My parents live in Mesa and my brother and family in Chandler.
My parents lived in Tucson for 30 years so I’ve spent much time in AZ as well. And did shows in Scottsdale and Phoenix and Fountain Hills.
Safe travels, new adventures await you.
Thanks. That they do. My nature photos will look quite different. 😁
Applause to the artists. Happy packing and may the trip go smoothly. Beginnings and endings – always a challenge.
Thanks, Judy.
Congrats on your new adventure. Hope things go smoothly in this wacky time. Looking forward to pictures from your new perspective.
It will certainly be an adventure, especially in summer. 🙂 And yes, the photos will change but hopefully still be enjoyable.
That’s great news – now get back to work packing.
Ha! If you could only see me, Dan. Hauling things to Goodwill right now as they’re about the only store of that type still accepting donations. Who would have thought that would be a problem?!
I hope you make it.
Got everything that needs to go to Goodwill over there and the few things we may have left can be taken care of if they’re not open tomorrow. Phew!
🙂 Good luck with your move, dear Janet!
Take care and stay healthy!
Big hugs from the other side of the world.
Claudia xo 🙂
Thanks so much, Claudia, and big hugs to you from my corner of the world, too. Be well. 😘
Such talent, and free for all to enjoy!
All the best with the packing, Janet
Thanks. It’s going well. Very, very busy but well
Fabulous!
There was a lot of good street art there.
Did you get more?
I have more. I found it while I was out several years ago helping our older daughter pick out her wedding dress, which took us into the garment district and the surrounding area.
Ah! Will you be posting more of it?
Maybe. I’ll have to find them in my photo files. If not soon, then later.
Kk!
Beautiful murals!
Thanks.

Thank you for this! Miss walking down random blocks and observing city life. Great reminder of what is, what always will be, and what to look forward to!
You’re very welcome. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. Yes, I’m looking forward to getting out again, too.

I’m not from LA but Chicago, but part of the reason why I love living in the city is seeing all the street art that really brings the city to life.
We lived in Naperville prior to moving to Arizona in March and yes, there’s some wonderful street art there as well. I found much of the LA art while visiting prior to our daughter’s wedding.
