Patti has some excellent examples of shapes and designs in her challenge post for this week. I had to include this first quote because it made me laugh at how we sometimes feel when we see the weekly challenge or some other online challenge:
“Challenges are intended to shape you not to destroy you.”
― Christine E. Szymanski
Now for some examples of shapes and designs from God and man.
“I realized that day that blessings come in a variety of shapes, colors, and sizes.”
― Craig Groeschel, Weird: Because Normal Isn’t Working
We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us. ~Winston Churchill
“Wide, curved, tall or long, so many shapes but none are wrong.”
― Hermione Little, All Our Lovely Shapes
Keep in shape: if you look good, you will feel confident. ~ Carolina Herrera 🙂
Great quotes and stunning photos of shapes and designs Janet!
Thanks so much, Aletta. 🥰
Love all the clicks especially the first one.
Thank you my friend.
My pleasure. Thanks for the visit in the comment. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.

You are welcome Janet
Hahaha. I can relate to that first quote. Always anticipation about what it will be and then…. get to it.
I loved the applications to all the quotes, and especially like the swirls of the brown/ dead plant. Lots of interest in that. I even see a heart. Donna
I don’t know what those plants are but they’re very interesting. There are lots of them along the canal area where I walk in the mornings.
I really wish they put the challenge out in advance but I guess lots of people didn’t want to have it done that way. I would prefer to have a little time to prepare especially as it’s on the weekend, which is usually busy.
Yes, I like the challenges that put a month ahead just to see what I might want to do. I only pick 2 or 3 a week, and enjoy engagement 1 or 2 days too. Lots of great bloggers out there, like yourself.
❤
Wonderful assortment, Janet. The opener is a great attention-getter. 🙂
It was a beautiful fountain.
That first tiled one caught my attention, Janet!
There was a good-sized fountain right next to where we sat outside for our coffee and the sound of the water with the lovely tile making up the wall, was quite relaxing.
It is easy to love the place.
Excellent choices Janet – and yes, your first quote says it all!! And as always I laughed out loud – this time at your closing image. Always great to have you with us.
I always enjoy being part of the challenge, Tina, andnd getting someone to laugh is always good, at least if at the right things. And those last certainly are shapes, aren’t they? 🙂
I enjoyed your thoughts, photos and quotes, Janet. I especially liked that first quote and your thoughts on some daunting challenges! Someone we always manage to “rise” to the challenge!! I enjoyed your first photo of that great tile design. The plant was really intriguing, too.
Nice set, especially that lovely first photo of the tiles and water
That was a lovely fountain wall, that’s for sure.

I like that quote. Your selections for the challenge are great!
That first quote just made me laugh because it really expresses how I feel about this challenge sometimes. Lol. Glad you enjoyed my selections.
Ha, brilliant gallery, Janet. Loved the quotes and the first image much…the last one is a hoot.
I absolutely had to include that last one because they are certainly shapes. Lol. That first quote was just so perfect I had to include it.
:-D♥
Excellent. I love the water spout, the palm(?) leaves, and window reflection.
Thanks very much, John.
LOVE the leaf – very creative view:)
Thanks so much, Jesh.
