When I woke up and checked my comments, I had to look at the post to see which photo I’d put first. 🙂 Off for the park and my walk. Enjoy your Wednesday, Judy.
Although most of the park is still filled with brown, dead plants, the grassy areas are green and there are tiny buds on some of the bushes. The anticipation of spring is one of the things that makes it such a glorious time. One of these days, the first flowers will bloom and that will be very exciting.
It is this awareness of beauty found in unexpected ways that is so wonderful. This poking around in the garden to find the first sighting of new growth. Yesterday I unexpectedly found a hyacinth starting to bloom and my heart skipped a beat. YES. Yes. yes. Spring!!
As I just said to Nicole, the anticipation makes the arrival of each sign of spring even more joyful. If one day everything was up, when it hadn’t been the day before, it would be astonishing, but (at least for me) not nearly as enjoyable.
Both are beautiful but the first is my preference. It’s stunning.
Thanks, Lucile. Hope your Wednesday’s been good and your week is going well.

You’re welcome, Janet. All good so far! Thanks.
The first one is so lovely!
I’m glad you like it, Lena. It was such a joy to see.

Spring is so full of life and joy.
Fantastic! Love seeing new growth.
The realization of new life is wonderful, isn’t it?

Both great photos, but I love the first one. 🙂

New growth, new hope. Great photos, Janet!
The hope of spring, Amy, and what a hope it is!
Wow! I haven’t checked my yard yet. Usually we are buried in snow right now but it was 70 yesterday in MN and all our snow is long gone. Beautiful!

That it does, Allan.

Simply gorgeous, Janet!
I think if I took the time to watch, I could see them growing, Terri. I’m longing for those first flowers.
A beautiful wordless tribute to spring.
And there are more and more signs each day. I’m loving it.

Look forward to seeing more and more on your blog…
Spring is in the air!…..
That it is, although today more rain is in the air. 🙂
