This week’s Photo Challenge theme is “Opposites.” In this shot outside the Barnes Museum in Philadelphia, the calmness of the serenity pool contrasts with the bustle of the city around it, the bit of nature a break in the urban environment, the feel of respite vs. the feel of hurry.
If you click on my pingback link on Friday and didn’t find my post, I apologize. I meant to publish it today, so I didn’t have to do a post immediately upon arrival in France. But I’m so used to posting right away, that I did, then took it back. Sorry and thanks for coming back.
Havens of quiet in a city always seem so special. And this looks lovely.
The museum was great, too, an amazing collection.

How very exciting! Enjoy! Passe de bonnes vacances ⚜
Thanks, Connie. The flight over was good but after that, things got a bit crazy. All worked out on the end, though, so that’s good.

A perfect mirrored reflection.
It was such a serene place on the midst of the city and I loved the rocks at the bottom of the pool.
