This is the action video that goes with the bee shot I shared some time ago. Please spend the minute and two seconds to watch the entire video so you see why it’s a two-fer.

My goodness, the first one was in a frenzy. I wonder if they get a super buzz from that pollen.
I don’t know, but it was quite something to watch. They were in ecstasy, that’s for sure.
Okay, that was cool. Thank you for taking that video and sharing it.
I’ve been waiting to share it, Judy. It’s just such an amazing thing to see and then to see two of them in the same flower!
That is amazing. Two bees at the nectar bar. One falls over drunk and in ecstasy, the other pops by for a pint…the story goes on!
Well said, Jayne!!
So true. They were very, very happy. 🙂

just amazing to see them work so hard!
But they had so much fun!! 🙂
There must be a pleasure reward in it for them to spend so much time seeking out pollen like that. The first bee just looks like he’s enjoying it an awful lot, lol. Pretty cool video, Janet! I loved it.
Thanks, Madison. I was in awe watching this. They seemed so thrilled. Perhaps that’s just anthropomophizing them but it was quite a moment for all of us. 🙂
Wow… so amazing! Thank you, Janet for sharing!
My pleasure, Amy. Thanks for taking time to comment.
Pretty amazing video, Janet. I wouldn’t have stood that close for any length of time.
Shalom,
Rochelle
They were so into, literally and figuratively, that flower that they took no notice of me and of my phone hovering over them. 🙂
Thanks for posting this, Janet!
Thanks for enjoying it, Sue.
I did!
😊
Yes.
amazing!
It really was, Lola. I spent a long time watching and photographing these guys.

And this is what pollen addiction looks like. Loved how the first insect just sat there and gave the other one its turn to enjoy the pollen.
I thought there might be a huge fight, but maybe the first one was so overwhelmed with pollen and joy that it just left. Couldn’t take any more. 🙂

It was probably high. Haha!
Very likely. 😉
What a fantastic video! You can see every detail and every crumb of pollen. They look very different to the bumble bees I’m used to in my garden 🌿
I think they might be wood bees. But whatever sort, they were having a blast!! It made me smile for a long time.
This is a really amazing post.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was an amazing sight, that’s for sure!

Fascinating!! Great photography. I’m listening to Chick Corea. It’s perfect.
🙂 I do like jazz. Have to try to find a jazz station in the Phoenix area for when I’m driving. Glad you enjoyed the bees. They were amazing.
That was absolutely fascinating, and you flower pics are amazing!
