I think flowers and/or plants almost always enhance and I believe these examples from my recent (was that really only a week and a half ago??) trip to southern California prove my point. What do you think?

Absolutely! All three look so much better with the addition of flora.
Happy Thursday, Sheree.
Thanks
I like the flowers arched over the first door, the colour of that second one and the 🎃 on the last one 👍🏼
🙂 You picked out the standout bits of each, Teresa.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting Teresa
Always my pleasure!
Agree
🙂
My thoughts include I love the arching flowers in the first photo, and the double blue door is great. You did good!
Thank you kindly, ma’am!
The plants and flowers do add quite a lot, Janet. Those big hinges are pretty sweet, too.
Yeah, those hinges make for an entirely different look than if they were just small and unobtrusive.
Oh yes, they do add an inviting appeal to the doors and gates. I love the Turquoise gate.
I like that gate as well. 🙂
The only problem with flowers growing around the door is that rats like to hide in them! But they do look pretty!
That’s a cherry observation, JT! 🙂 Perhaps that doesn’t happen everywhere; at least let’s hope not.
Flora enhances everything. Lovely doors Janet!
I tend to agree about for flora.
They certainly do! I think my favorite is the first one with the pink flowers.
I do like that one myself.
Flowers are always welcoming. (K)
I think so too.

The last door is quite sleek. I like it.
The house behind it was spectacular!
It’s important to return home and find something fresh and happy to greet you – or to greet the visitor. That first one is guaranteed to lift the mood of the day. You also have that gift – just by being you.
I love the look of the first one. As for the rest, thanks so much. That’s a lovely compliment. ❤️
The first growth is glorious! The second door is most excellent even if it were alone in the desert. 🙂 And the third is… modern. 😀
Yes, the first two are very different from the third. But I think you would have loved the house behind that third door.
That second one, the garden door, is a specially lovely find
I like that one as well.

Thanks! I enjoyed all of them.
Typo nene was supposed to be enrich but I think you figured it out
The blue Dutch door is lovely.
