Thursday Doors…Hold me closer, tiny dancer.

Once upon a time I read about some of the most misunderstood song lyrics with “Blinded by the Light” at the top of the list I read. But my favorite is the line I used for the title which has been misunderstood to be ““Hold me closer Tony Danza.” Make me laugh every time I think about or hear it. Anyhoo…even though tiny, this fairy dancer really rather dwarfs Trader Joe’s and I haven’t seen her outside the TJ’s near our daughter’s apartment. But who knows? Perhaps she flits from store to store.

Evidently a spider decided the Sweetpea Pearl Shop needed some outside decoration which I didn’t notice until I got ready to post the photo. I was shell-shocked. 🙂 But it does have a nice little door with the doorknob in a unique location so I used the photo anyway.

Just in case anyone has any funny ideas about stealing any tiny houses or other objects, the owners of the yard are ready for them! Rather nice landscaping for a jail, don’t you think?

That’s it for today but tune in next Thursday for the last of the tiny doors! 😦

Did you have a crush on Tony Danza?

  2. Delightful!! I imagine the tiny dancer was off to another flower in need of a soft voice and gentle cheering on as it faded out of site until next Spring!

    I didn’t notice a spider.

  3. Your misunderstanding of the lyrics reminds me of a radio jock who used to say that he confused the line in the AC/DC song, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” with “Dirty Deeds and the Dunderchief”. Every time I hear the song now, I hear “Dunderchief”. >grin<

That’s a funny slip. I’m not sure Tony Danza was even born yet when that song first came out.. In any case, I am enjoying the tiny doors you’re bringing us.

Tony Danza…. one lyric mistake I never made, and I’ve made many.
These miniatures are adorable, and I do love the tiny dancer.
